Crows (クローズ Kurōzu) is a manga series created by Takahashi Hiroshi which was serialized in Monthly Shōnen Champion magazine from 1990 to 1998. The story revolves around the lives of teenage delinquents in and around the fictional town of Toarushi in Japan, with a particular focus on the delinquents of Suzuran All-Boys High School, famously known as "The Crows School".
The manga's success led to various adaptations, including a two-episode OVA titled Koukou Butouden, and three live-action prequel films: Crows Zero in 2007, Crows Zero II in 2009, and Crows Explode in 2014.
Plot[]
The plot commences with the arrival of Harumichi Bouya, a transfer student entering Suzuran High School as a second-year student. Suzuran is renowned for its delinquent student body, known as "Crows" due to their dark uniforms and ill-famed reputation. Bouya encounters a group centered around Hiromi Kirishima, who aspires to challenge the reigning school boss, Hideto Bandō. From there, the narrative delves into the adventures and encounters of Suzuran delinquents from various nearby schools and gangs.
