Housen Academy, home of the Housen Killer Corps who control the school with a strict chain of command. Feared as an unbreakable empire, once it was ruled for years by Bitou Brothers and later taken over by King Joe who later passed on his leadership to the Moonlight Brothers' Mitsumasa. Today, Mikuni Yuukyou is the Boss of Housen. Suzuran is their biggest rival. Housen is also one of the Big Four of Toarushi.
History Of Housen
Housen's transformation into the monolithic and feared school it is today was a gradual process. During its first year of opening, the school was not much different from Suzuran, with students constantly fighting and lacking unity. However, everything changed with the arrival of Terakado Butta, a legendary figure who reshaped the school's culture and structure [1].
Under Butta's leadership, Housen Academy became the monolithic and skinhead Housen we know today, where one leader holds the school together with an iron grip. Since then, Housen has maintained this structure for generations, with only one leader at any given time, solidifying its reputation as an unshakable empire.
Though the incredible strength of their leaders is undeniable, Housen values their numbers as well. They are not hesitant to resort to ganging up on opponents if it aligns with their strategic goals. This tactic allows them to dominate their rivals and maintain their dominant position in the city's delinquent landscape.
In the early days of Housen, there were approximately 400 students enrolled in the school, and over the years, they have grown into a powerful force to be reckoned with [2].
One of the most significant rivalries in the city is between Housen and Suzuran. The hatred and desire to defeat Suzuran run deep within the members of Housen, and this rivalry has persisted across generations. The ongoing battles between these two schools have cemented their status as fierce rivals, each vying for dominance and supremacy in the city of Toarushi.
Skinhead Army
During the early days of Housen Academy, a massive brawl erupted among the students, leading the top man at that time to implement a unique rule. Any student who lost in the fight was required to shave their head, while the last five standing were deemed victors and appointed as captains in the school's army [1]. This rule of shaving heads, except for the leaders, has become one of Housen's defining characteristics, earning them the moniker of the "Skinhead Army."
With their militant chain of command, Housen Academy has gained a fearsome reputation for sending waves of bald-headed soldiers, known as the Killer Corps, to ambush, intimidate, and even decimate their enemies. This skinhead army is always on high alert and ready to act at a moment's notice, making them a truly formidable force that strikes fear into the hearts of other gangs in Toarushi.
The strict and disciplined structure of Housen, coupled with their willingness to resort to overwhelming numbers, has allowed them to establish their dominance and reputation as an unyielding and powerful force in the delinquent world. As a result, Housen's Killer Corps is notorious for their aggressive tactics and their ability to instigate chaos and mayhem whenever they are called upon.
Housen Dynasties
Housen is renowned for its longstanding dynastic leadership, passed down through generations. The infamous Bitou Brothers were among the earliest leaders to establish their dominance at Housen. Makio Bitou, the eldest of the Bitou Brothers, was considered the school's most formidable fighter during his time, but his reign ended tragically with his untimely death. Tatsuya Bitou, the next in line, assumed leadership during Narumi Taiga's rule, a former underling of his elder brother. When Taiga lost to Suzuran, Tatsuya took the helm during his sophomore year, adopting senior pawns as figureheads to maintain a low profile. His younger brother, Hideyuki Bitou, later took over as boss after Tatsuya went underground. However, Hideyuki's leadership was short-lived as he was defeated by the freshman, King Joe, putting an official end to the Bitou Dynasty.
King Joe proved to be a formidable and influential leader, holding the reins of Housen throughout his school year. However, he faced mounting pressure from the Moonlight Brothers, whose influence over Housen was growing. Realizing that a war with Suzuran would result in defeat, King Joe made the decision to pass the leadership to Tsukimoto Mitsumasa, the third youngest of the Moonlight Brothers. This marked the end of King Joe's legendary rule over Housen.
With newfound conviction, Mitsumasa and his brothers sought to restore Housen's reputation as the strongest army. Mitsumasa faced numerous challenges but proved himself to be a capable and worthy leader. After Mitsumasa's graduation, his youngest brother, Mitsunori, took the mantle of leadership at Housen.
At present, Housen Academy is under the rule of Mikuni Yuukyou, continuing the tradition of powerful leaders who have held the school together with an iron grip.

Housen Delinquents
HiGH&LOW: THE WORST
Housen appeared in HiGH&LOW: The Worst[3], as an opposing school to Oya High, a school full of delinquents in HiGH&LOW universe. The students featured in the film are original characters and not from the manga. This generation of Housen is hailed as the strongest in its history.
During this era, there are six sophomore officers at Housen, with Sabakan being one of them. [4] However, most of these officers did not take part in the Oya-Housen War. Among the sophomore officers, Monji is specifically mentioned as the designated successor to become the next leader of Housen once Sachio, the current leader, graduates.
