Jinnai Kouhei was the former vice-head of the Snake Heads before his untimely demise.

Jinnai preferred to operate from the shadows, manipulating events and controlling the gang's actions discreetly. He was not one to openly seek the limelight but instead exerted his influence in a more subtle and strategic manner. His reputation for being a skilled fighter was well-deserved, as he was able to defeat even powerful opponents like Parko with ease. This demonstrated both his physical strength and his ability to outsmart his adversaries in combat.

Plot[]

Hamanaka Mid[]

Jinnaiwent to Hamanaka Mid and shares a close bond with his best friend, Kizu Kyousuke. Their friendship was forged when Jinnai offered his assistance to Kyousuke during a middle school fight, despite both of them ultimately being defeated.

As fate would have it, Jinnai's path crossed with two other individuals - Teru and Kiiko - under similar circumstances. He extended a helping hand to them during their own fights, and this led to the formation of a tight-knit group of friends who looked out for each other.

Over time, Jinnai's reputation as a skilled fighter grew, and this caught the attention of another formidable delinquent, Parko. The two eventually engaged in a fierce battle, with Jinnai emerging as the victor [1]. This hard-fought victory solidified their friendship, and Parko became another valued member of Jinnai's circle of friends.

Snake Heads[]

Jinnai, Teru, Kizu, Kiiko, and Parko maintained their strong bond as best friends throughout their high school years until an unfortunate turn of events. Kizu's placement in juvenile detention created a rift between them, and Jinnai started to perceive his former friends differently. He no longer saw them as the fierce and courageous companions he once knew but viewed them as weak and timid.

During his time as the leader of the Snake Heads, Jinnai developed a unique and genuine bond with Mayumi Tetsuji, the only man he respected enough to acknowledge Jinnai as a true leader. Jinnai had his eyes set on using Hacchou as a stepping stone to gain a place within the Toguko Family [2].

As the power struggle within the Snake Heads intensified, some officials are now following Jinnai, while others were secretly still aligned with Hacchou. One such loyal official was Sonada Masayuki, who maintained his allegiance to Hacchou despite the growing influence of Jinnai. Realizing this, Jinnai devised a trap to eliminate Sonada [3], ensuring his complete control over the Snake Heads.

However, Jinnai's trust was misplaced when it came to Eguchi Hayato, whom he believed to be his right-hand man. Unbeknownst to Jinnai, Eguchi was actually a double agent, conspiring with Hacchou to eliminate Jinnai once he conquered the city. When Eguchi's true intentions were revealed, Jinnai took matters into his own hands and defeated him in a fierce confrontation [4].

Amidst the turmoil, Jinnai reached out to Mayumi Tetsuji, the strongest among the Snake Heads officials. He sought Tetsuji's guidance on the path to take, emphasizing that Tetsuji valued strength above all else. After engaging in a heated battle against Jinnai [5], Tetsuji recognized Jinnai's prowess and unwavering determination. Tetsuji made a solemn vow to stand by Jinnai's side until the very end, and his loyalty inspired other officers to follow suit, solidifying Jinnai's position as the leader of the Snake Heads.

Despite Jinnai's ambitious plans to join forces with Tokyo's Yakuza and disband the Snake Heads [6], his efforts were thwarted by the P.A.D., backed by strong support from Toarushi. As the battles escalated, Jinnai found himself standing alone with Tetsuji, the last remnants of the once-powerful Snake Heads, against formidable opponents like P.A.D., T.F.O.A., Housen Corps, and the Harumichi Family [7].

Facing overwhelming odds, Jinnai's determination led him to confront his adversaries single-handedly. However, his friends, Parko, Kiiko, and Teru, recognized the folly of his actions and decided to intervene to prevent further bloodshed [8]. It was during this encounter that Jinnai experienced a change of heart, realizing the error of his ways and the consequences of his ruthless actions.

Despite this newfound realization, tragedy struck when Jinnai was unexpectedly murdered by a former member of the Snake Heads [9]. On the brink of death, his final thoughts were of the cherished memories with his former best friends, yearning to return to those days [10]. In the aftermath of his demise, Sonada turned himself into the police [11].

Following Jinnai's passing, his friends paid their respects at his grave. In his absence, Mayumi Tetsuji vowed to honor Jinnai's dream and pursue his ambition to rise to the top of the underworld, keeping his memory alive in the hearts of those who once admired him.
